Beginner question about prepere for painting

Hi guys
I have 3 question .
1. How to good hold my model ? I tryied patafix but my metal miniatures sometimes falling and I dont like bad. Maybe wine cork and pin legs my miniatures its a good idea .

2. How to safe my desk when I started miniatures. I have a long desk with computer and rest free place for painting . i tried newspapers but when I move my hands newspaper fall and I dont continous my work .

3. Sense of vallejo series for airbrush . Can I dillute model color paint for airbrush ?

1. I use pattafix (or something similar) and old paint jar or wooden base. never had any problems with minis falling down... if you paint something really big and heavy, pinning your mini to a cork or wooden base may be a good idea.

2. if I understand you correctly, you want to protect your table from spilled paint? a plastic mat (the bigger the better) or even a plastic tablecloth should do the trick.

3. I'm not using an airbrush, so I will leave this question for others to reply.
