hmmm GD in Japan... guess it will be interesting to see the entries... but too bad they didn't come back with a GD in poland this year :(

I am now giving my own personal opinion now:
Actually they did us a Favor. We started orginizing our own contest! I don't miss it at all. Yes, people like Ben Comets, Rusto, Navaro Perez don't come now, but I don't like this 'must win GD' attitude. 'Hussar' competition has more diversity and more atmosphere.
If you want to meet the best polish painters who really care about miniatures and not about statues - you are more then welcome!

Yeah some great painters really act like there's nothing besides a GD. I think the "smaller" events are much better, I get more inspiration and motivation from them, and the atmosphere there is always nicer and friendlier.

Don't get me wrong here I dont favor GW or their Games Day events at all. :) I just didn't really get it why they stopped GD Poland and I think the more events/contests are around the better it is. :)

For sure no offense p1per! I just told you what are my feelings about GD Poland few years after it is no longer on the schedule :)
