Modest? Perhaps. I'm just comparing my attempts with works posted here on CoC. And I see some differences :)
Anyway, I'm flattered, that CoC's Master of Metallics noticed my metallics :) Thanks

The only criticism I have isn't about the quality but about the skintone

Cool one, waiting for more.
smoothness - judging by photos - yes, you're right. Wait for better pics, though. I wonder what you will say then :)
skintone - I'm not fond of it neither. I was trying to make something different and was aiming at brighter tones, which are usually used for goblins. At the same moment I didn't want yellowish tones. The final result is partially satisfactory - it is different, bright, and not yellow. Pity that I do not like it completely.
Next photos - I surely will post them...in a few months, perhaps. Or perhaps I'll be able to pick up the pace?

I recommend no.1 - it shows my other wip (reaper's vamp), so you compare scales.
Waiting for your comments and tips.

looks impressive although I'm not a fan of skintone - tbh I could never paint green-skin's flesh to satisfied with :?
