Sala ad-Din is finished  It was a real pleasure to paint, I haven`t had such an enjoing mini-painting like with this one - not pretty sure why, too hard to explain. But anyway great mini :) The painting is similar to lancier

I really like your latest model the metallics are nice and smooth, the colour use is great. The details are good, although i think the face could do with some cleaning up a little to help define the facial features, perhaps a variation in the shading colour to give the face more depth and become a focal point. The freehand on the scroll is good but i think for me it's not quite finished, i think tidying up some of the lines and making it seem more symmetrical will give a much better impression. All in all a nice piece so far.

I think the "brown-pants" guy looks better. The colors are more interesting, shading seems to be better.
Only the mop-hairstyle looks bad, but it's only partially your fault ;)

The freehand on Salah's scroll should be a bit finer. If you had used a thinner brush to paint it, it would look so much better....

Hoping for more brown-pants :P

I hope that you will like Berbers` brown cloths:

On the photo I have noticed, that shades in some places have to be tided a bit.

The front shot looks pretty good, while on the back you need to make the transitions between the different browns smoother.

The Berbers are finished! What can I say... I am happy with their cloaks, but negative about their skin. I don`t want to spend more time on them so I think I will move one to another Saracens :)
