Khador by ToMaZ

Post by ToMaZ »

This is my second active tale. This one will be more frequently updated than my Cygnar tale though as this will be my gaming army and part of my goals for 2011 :)
The goal is to have a playable army of at least 50 pts fully painted by end 2011. This shouldn't be too hard.

At the moment I'm painting the Butcher of Khardov yet again. I started him yesterday and got a decent amount done over this weekend.
Things left to do:

-Highlighting some black parts
-Painting the metallics
-Painting a couple of gems and rivets.

Picture isn't that good really. The highlights don't show. Guess it overexposed? My photo-fu is weak.

I bought a new plastic jack set for my Khador army which arrived yesterday. As impatient that I am, I figured I start building it today just to see how it would look.
Too bad I had a big setback:

The top half of the jack is completely crooked... :banghead:
I think I have to contact PP to see if I can get a replacement.

Better news is that I should finish the butcher today!

That looks very strange indeed, like it's not been left to set for a long enough time and started to distort due to gravity as it cools.

E-mailed PP customer care to see if they replace it. If they don't replace it, I paid € 20 for some bits...
And now we wait and try to finish the Butcher before this weekends game :)
