well the project started off as commission trolls but the client has Skorne and circle stuff he wanted me to work on so it's more like Commission Hordes. Anyway here's a wip of what i'm working on atm ^^.

Well i managed to finish the Skorne titan model, it's quite glossy as the varnish was layered a couple times to protect the rediculously heavy and pointy model. I have some better photos which i'll post up soon. But the client is happy with the model and likes the detailing.

wow, brown changed to olive grey... how was that possible?

I have to say I'm rather disappointed with this piece of yours. I mean, it sure is good for gaming purposes, but you've used to paint way above that level.
colours are quite flat, red is too striking between all those muted elements - fur, metal, skin, horns all look pretty similar.
there are S-shapeed hooks at the back - are they painted metal or have the same shade as skin?

sorry if I sound too harsh, maybe these were all shortcuts taken deliberately due to commision specification.

aren't commissions excluded from Tale of Gamers? wasn't it only for ONE'S OWN MODELS?

@Mahon,Well we can remove this topic altogether, i don't mind and i'll post these up in my other wip thread. That's no problems, i think i must have forgotten that rule about the tales.

@Seaman, Out here in the middle east getting anything decent is extremely difficult as it's gone the next day so i only had 1 type of varnish available, it said matt on the can but if you look at the properties of any varnish it'll always have a slightly gloss depending on the thickness of it all. As it's a heavy metal model i wanted to do more layers to protect it so it came out glossy.

@Phil, i admit this isn't to my usual style as my client wanted something quite gritty and realistic as such and so i didn't apply my usual super high contrast to it so the skin might not pop as much, plus i'm really not good at taking photos when the models have a slight gloss sheen to them. A major failing on my part is that i am perhaps still not quite used to metallic paints yet as you know i've always been a NMM man, so I do still need to work on getting more contrast to my metallics to differentiate them perhaps to the skin. The model in real the skin does stand out compared with the metals, but perhaps not as much as i would have liked.
