they don't redeem anything. they only prove how much bad you can do to your good paintjobs with poor photos. this one is actually very cool as we can see now and it's a nice break from your usual style!

Piece 4 of 13. One of the Skorne warcasters, lots of weird detailing on this one, i sort of enjoyed bits of this one, but other bits not so much. Not my taste in model, but it's interesting and I keep forgetting how tiny these models can be sometimes, especially after painting so many warjacks and the last warbeast. My client has however told me i'd be painting quite a range of different characters.

Ok for my next trick i'm back to some trolls again, this time it is Grissel. Troll models are very fun to paint, the client wanted the more typical blue-y skin so i did my jiggery pokery and came up with this:
