As you can see it was boring like...

So I decided to build nice monolith

I will use 50-100 leds total ^_^
Power supply is gel battery 12-13V / 1.3 Ah
It is big 97x58x33 [mm] and heavy (around 0,6 kg) and it will be mounted inside monolith

Opto supply 5mm leds test.

Serial connection of 3 leds and resistor, 3 circuits connected parallel. Led voltage is 3,3-3,4 V . Current 30mA and brightness is 40-60k mcd, but angle of light is only 15 deg. Leds are making nice dot pattern on surface ^_^

Super Flux led test

Brightness of led is "only" 20-30k mcd. Voltage 9,3-9,5 V , current 20mA and angle 120 deg

Of course I had to use resistor too.

Awesome :) i've always liked electronically lit up models, they add that little bit extra to a model/unit/army ^^

wow thats nice, but a bit bright, it made my eyes hurt on this side of the monitor. Reminds me of the Luxor in Las Vegas.
