Re: Arctica's Cryx
Lol no family pic just yet, my desk has been taken up with a rather large puzzle i'm working on atm it's pretty darn fun !
However, i have managed to paint a brute thrall and 2 bile thralls as test models for my next cryxian unit, so i want to finish my mechanithrall unit etc and finish a bile thrall unit whilst juggling some trolls (commission) and cygnar in between
I'm happy with the results of the quickie paint jobs on these guys, nice and simple and pretty darn effective too.

I just need to add some goo to their bases and they're done but i want to wait for the full unit first so that i don't waste too much goo

Re: Arctica's Cryx
Well this last week i've been busy putting together 23 satyxis models and then some other stuff too, plus getting them all based and undercoated ready to be painted ! i feel good that most of the models are now prepared and almost all are ready, at least i can use them for my games too.
I am still working on the bile thralls but i decided to paint a little bonejack to break up the unit painting so i had a bit more colour. So here is my stalker bonejack, i'm pretty happy with it and it was really nice and quick to paint.

Re: Arctica's Cryx
Well before i do a family pic i've managed to get painted my reaper, i love this warjack in game it's so cool. I have a few lists made up but i'm going to try my best to get at least one of the lists completely painted up and as the reaper consistently shows up in my lists i wanted to get it done.
I was taking far too long painting this model and took me a while to get it to a standard i'm happy with. After working on it and then doing both battle damage and freehand work and adding more gold helped me balance the colours.

Re: Arctica's Cryx
Since i've been using blackbane's ghost raiders and enjoying them immensely i thought i'd put some paint on some incorporeal ghost models and here is the result as a test model. I'm pretty happy with it for a fairly quick tabletop use. A few quick washes and then highlights to tidy it up then some minor details Comments and crit always welcome !
