My name's Matt, from the US.
I started painting minis about 30 years ago (as a kid with just some Testor's model paint lol), but started learning about more advanced techniques about 10 years ago.
But, that was all cut short when my daughter was born shortly after I started in the hobby. I just didn't have the time with a newborn to devote to mini-painting, so I never got very far with it.
Anyway, ironically, my daughter (who is now 9) has expressed some serious interest in painting fantasy miniatures, so here we are again. Full circle.
I hope to kinda "pick up where I left off", though admittedly I've forgotten a lot of technique over the years. Plus, I hope to give my daughter some techniques she can start out with, and improve on as she gets older.
