Hello,
My user name is Coabeous but my given name is Coab (if that means anything in Polish I would really like to know), most people call me Coaby pronounced like the pro basketball players name.
I've been lurking on COC for years and have finely taken the plunge and started posting.
I am a 52 yr old plumber who had to take early retirement due to a disability and paint miniatures to pass the time and stay out of trouble. On top of that I lost a eye in my early childhood and I can tell you, that doesn't make painting any easier.
I've lived in Houston Tx all my life and the furthest I've ever traveled from home was to Amsterdam for the 1999-2000 new years celebrations.
Anyway I've learned a lot from you guys while I was lurking here and hope to learn a lot more and become a better painter. Sometimes I fear my vision problems will keep me from moving up to the next level.
Thanks for having me,
Coabeous

Thanks Nameless, I was just curious, was always told it was an old name from our family here in east Texas. Never knew where it came from but I've read it means salt in Russian but that was on the internet.

Thanks for the welcome Barton, I would absolutely love too go GenCon or Origins, but I am just not able to right now. I'm not even going to Dragon Con in Atlanta, that's going on this weekend.
