the base was made from cork from ikea. Its those round placemats used to protect the table surface from hot pots and stuff.

It was cut and torn apart then stuck on a second layer so that it does not look so flat.

Painted grey and blended in a bit of brown and green mainly at the shadows to make it look more interesting.

The vegetation, some are from the normal railroad terrain suppies, some are from a small broom. These were just stuck on with PVA glue.
