to be true i can report only minor cuts, and some spilled paint accidents.

one of the he funniest was a drop of blue over my jeans: i suddently standed up, beginning to run screamin "alcohol, fast!i need alcohol!" but the alcohol came too late, so i had to trash the jeans.

Another one, i hit the open pot with the brush i was holding in mouth, making to fall it and a mini was partially covered with paint.

Now i follow a procedure:
-No more than one pot open is allowed on my desk.
-I work always over the table, wearing bad dresses
-No brushes holded in mouth

:D

Let's see, I have turned the pad of my thumb into a gridwork of cuts from the hobby knife. I never knew you were supposed to cut away from your hand not towards it??? ;P

Glued fingers together, had an Airbush explode on me, but that is nothing compared to the injuries I have sustained with my woodworking hobby. . .

Hmmmm.... skin peeled/pulled off after my fingers were glued together and to other things...

Tiny bits of metal in the eye from having the vent of my Dremel pointing the wrong way while being too close...

Drill bits and blades in the hands, fingers, etc...

Sanding disk shattered while using my Dremel once. It sent shards everywhere. Think I had a small face cut, but luckily it missed my eyes.

Hmmm... Something people new to the hobby should be aware of is the effects some of this stuff will have if--

1. there is a pregnant woman in the household. Lots of the chemicals we use can be very bad for pregnant women. They don't have to be using it to be effected, just in the same room lots of times.

2. the person is on any type of medicine that makes their skin more sensitive or fragile. I've been in this situation, and had to put conversion work down for months - the metal I was filing and such kept wearing holes in my hands and the slightest knick of a hobby blade became a bleeding cut. Really frustrating and somewhat dangerous.

I have cut myself very deep twice over the last few weeks. Every time I install a new super sharp blade something goes wrong :) both of the times it was in the middle of my thumb, and the blood was spilling so bad I dripped all over the miniature. I'm relieved I have never hit an artery, because there is one in the thumb and both of the cuts wery very very deep.
With glue I have had only minor incidents. I usually rub my fingers when I spill glue so it dries up very quickly, creating a layer of glue over my skin.
