The chest armor is already painted in white (and the shadow is a little more deep indeed...)
Actually the shoulderpads are bronze, and hair are blonde...not still sure about the result...I highlighted the face that is now in good contrast within the shoulderpads frame
hmmm not easy to decide a right scheme, I was intending to go for the white armour overall, and the paint the tabard and the cloak in a pale blue to pink color, following slaanesh color scheme...as soon as I can I will post a new picture with the darker shoulderpads...

sorry, it is a link and not a picture...due to technical problems, I can't do better...any comments?
I made the shoulderpads in bronze and the tabard in a paleblue-to-pink gradient...
suggestions welcome as usual...

it doesn't sound encouraging... :(
Do you think I should step back and start over?
Do you have any suggestions for alternative color schemes? Should I revert the shoulderpads to the same gradient of the tabard to keep it consistent? Anyone else has thoughts about this?
thanks for your feedback...

Maybe it'd work better if the leg armour was bronze as well but your customer wants white armour so you a bit restricted, the shoulder pads on their own are great but something just doesn't feel right with the pads on white armour.

I don't know... maybe if you went back to the sand coloured pads but edged them in bronze instead, kind of a mix of the two if you catch my drift.

[EDIT] Hey this one's nice Nameless, sort of what my minds eye was heading for.

Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

I think the details, the tiny decorations and such should create the connection between the head and the armor - now the armor may seem not fitting, because of all the unfinished parts around it, which create the impression that the dark part (head) is finished and the rest is not.

I think we need to see the larger picture (I don't mean the size of picture but a bigger part of the painted mini, the context) to tell if these things look as a whole or not.

I agree, I would like to see a bit more of the model painted before adding in my two cents. I do however like the work on the face.
