no the fur is not very good. i think the texture is not deep enough and the strands of hair are too long for my taste. but paintjob may alter the effect....

I suppose it all depends on what the definition of fur is and how you see it, I see what you mean about the depth of the fur texture, I will have another look at it.

The skulls are there as decoration I think the 40k world has a fascination with the human skull.

when you make fur do it in several time and no with flat pieces of putty
put some balls of putty the one above the others, and sculpt them with a scalpel or a xacto knife
in a ball you have more possibility to give birth to volumed fur

yep, the skulls are there to make things dark and sinister. it works as long as you're no more than 13
