Unfortunately I seem unable to add pictures into the post (the IMG tags hate me) so I am afraid you will all have to do with links unless someone can fix them for me. :)

All rumoured to be part of the 7th edition starter boxed set. All plastic.

The pictures show the following:

Night Goblin force
1 Night Goblin Big Boss / Shaman (with squig and staff / great weapon)
1 Night Goblin Shaman (with staff and cauldron)
40 Night Goblins with spears (18 + 10 + 12)
20 Night Goblins with short bows (10 + 10)
10 Forest Goblin Spider Riders
1 Troll

Dwarf force
1 Thane
1 Slayer (plus a tied-up version)
12 Dwarf Warriors with hand weapons and shields
10 Thunderers
8 Miners
1 Cannon
1 Pony-drawn Beer(?) Cart

In addition there are one Night Goblin totem, a barricade(?), two signposts(?) and four wound markers (two for the dwarfs and two for the goblins) and quite possibly more things we can't see.

Hmmm, some Goblins and Dwarfs look quite nice but also a lot of them don't meet my expectation to be honest... The faces of the Night Goblins are rather horrible Imho.

I think the goblins are great!

as far as we're camparing plastic minis, these are pretty good. Better than many old ones;. But they're not even nearly as cool as the old funny metal minis of (for example) the 3rd. and 4th. editions of WFB.

Lovely snotlings, scores of unique goblins, dwarfs with so much character...
Ah... I miss those days

aww...i do not like them.
Goblins looks too similar to pervious edidion, so nothing special Imo... maybe GW has no vision for new minis in this army.

I think, GW should update some other armies (Empire 4example )

I have to point out, this is the boxed set (the one where the rules come with). You cannot expect high sculpting for this, look at the previous editions or the 40k Battle of Macragge. These plastics will be two part pieces, snap together most likely too.

I said - as for plastics they are fine. Very fine :) I simply miss these days when all those metal minis seemed to have souls.

I also notice that after trying to go for a dark and grim mood in the 6th. ed (just check the artwork, the mood was a bit 40K-like) after more cartoonish 5th. edition - the new minis are getting more exaggerated and cartoonish again...

battle of macrage had some sweet plastics man the gaunts, genestealers, sporemines, and space marines have the same detail and concepts of the multipart plastics... and crashed ship terrain is full of detail.

concept wise goblings faces are less sharp than previous plastics but i think body is more interesting they will do wonders wen mixing old and new plastics in a gobbo army.

love the pony and hate the slayers... i think dwarfs are way to stactic has fantasy is becoming more and more rank and file miniatures ( the reason im getting tired of fantasy so much)
