Chest of Colors forum

heya,

I started working in this lovely miniature but I'm abit stuck with my colour scheme ... any advice for the colour of his cloak? I'm satisfied with the other colours etc. But the cloak is giving me a hard time. Other comments are welcome too ofcourse !

the only thing You should think about is IMO some bright, striking point... I mean something contrasting with dark, toned colors some fresh blood on weapon should be enough

muted purple? the mini is turning out very interesting, but the face color is a bit strange. you also need to make the reflections on his arour a bit smoother...

I did the cloak in black with Shadow Grey highlights (added Bleached Bone to further highlights) and black/blue glazes.

I will try to take pics tomorrow with the new store camera. They will probably be not very good but atleast I'll show something again!

Please do! I'd love to see a miniature from you again and the colours could give me some inspiration.

Okay but I have to warn you (and anybody else for that matter!) that I started on the model yesterday and finished it today. It's not that high quality!

i agree with mahon with violet....or a dark blue with black and red color for shadows in your mix

You mean finished Mahon? Yes, atleast it is! Finally something finished again!
