I have seen the work of Chest of Colors, and it's really great - you should all be proud of the work you do there, it seems like a great community with very talented painters. I was just looking at the site (your work is great - the I really like the lighting on the Eldar Farseer miniature - very realistic) - it's really cool, and a great resource for painters.

I hope to see more great work from you all in the future

Us, old painters, might have a new painting gods now, but Mike was the first one for all of us.

Yep, I think there's a tear in my eye when I read such words from Mike.

Mike was the one, whose tutorials allowed me to make the first steps in mini-painting years ago. I blame him for my taste for oldschool minis Some of his earlier paintjobs are still among my all-time favorites. Eh, without him (and John Blanche) this would be a totally different world of miniature painting...
