Here's the deal, my army has been in the works for over a year, built for a 4-part campaign held at Warhammer World in the UK. I only decided to start building the army after the second part and took it to the 3rd, where it won a best army nomination.

Now I wish to expand, finish and reinvent the army. I've done some work already, but have a good few targets to meet and only 4 weeks to do it!

The first milestone is adding 4 Termites to the army, to be used as transports. My existing Chimeras are instead being used for dedicated shooting roles and back-up transport. I've also chosen to add a 3rd maniple of Hypaspists, which brings their number to 36 from 24. So far, this is taking some time!

It's actually a Storm Hawk, another campaign unit, but essentially a Storm Raven. Everyone's been building them lately and I really didn't like any, so did my own!

ok ..... eee um ....
you should realy tray to paint Tank somthing like Abrams or Tiger .... alot of detail alot of fun .. alot of build ... end ivrn got gun turrent ...

considering you all effeorst to convert .. duno if it is a Gw army steal .. you army is way to cool to play it vs "normal" Gw minis ..

I tend to play with a bunch of guys who build Pre-Heresy armies, so my opponents have put in just as much effort to convert their models too

That's pretty darn cool, you should do some battle reports for us they are always very interesting. It's great to see so many painted models in a game, very well done to you and your friends.

This is exactly why I am in the hobby, it's just hard work keeping interested in one army to such a stage. I have dozens of armies...

I will be taking my camera to the next campaign and hope to fight some painted armies!

My intended model list for the campaign (11th September) is:

Kelbor Hal (Built, not painted)
Athena (Done)
4 Tech Magos (Built, half painted)
36 Hypaspists (6 with melta, 3 are tribunes) (3 finished, 17 half painted, 3 unpainted, 13 unbuilt)
3 Termites (Built, painted, being 'weathered')
2 Chimeras with Lascannons (Done)
1 Chimera with Neuron laser (Done)
1 Leman Russ, gatling (Built, half painted)
1 Land Raider, Hurricanes (Needs tweaking and painting)
1 Biologis Land Crawler (Half built)
2 Sentinels, Multimeltas (Guns need changing)
2 Myrmidon Magnus (1 done, 1 half painted)
1 Storm Hawk (Needs painting)
1 Greater Brass Scorpion (Needs repinning and paint tidy up)
12 Sons of Horus (Half painted)
1 Drop Pod (half painted)
14 Menials (Half done, more need building)
4 Electro Priests (Half built)
