Chest of Colors forum

It's a fun thing to start new army. I'm a fan of the Tyranids and looking back in time I've a nice army based on the 4th ed. codex. This year GW really piss me off when they introduce new codex for 5th ed. New models look very nice, but I wasn't happy about new rules. My painted and/or prepared models wasn't good enaught to play on new edition. I've stoped to play them in around March. Additionally choosen color/fleet variant didn't suit me from a long time. This month after few games I've decided to sell my painted models. I've decided to prepare aa almost fixed army rooster with new color scheme. So it will be totally new project.

I will start to paint them in near future. Here's an example of a color scheme in which I would like to go. Not the same but this way suits me.

Below you'll find an almost complete army rooster:
1 x Tyranid Prime with lash wip and bone sword (Hive Tyrant 2ed)
7 x Tyranid Warriors with lash wips and bone swords
10 x Genestealers (from Space Hulk)
1 x Brood Lord (from Space Hulk)
1 x Carnifex with two twin linked devouers
1 x Trygon Prime
6 x Hive Guard
1 x Lictor (2ed)
1 x Mycetic Spore

My aim here is to paint this till end of 2011.

Optional:
3 x Zoantrope
10 x Genestealers (from Space Hulk)
1 x Brood lord
1 x Trygon / Mawloc
Bases will include a lot of building ruins and necron bits. I've got an idea to put them in a imperial world devastated by Necrons.
