I've signed up. Hopefully I'll be able to produce something better than what I've done in the past two months, which is pretty much crap.

I'd be happy to get such piece of crap...

If anybody is "on the fence" have them PM me and I can tell them that a newbie can have fun and there is little to fear (other than the deadline of course).
