Now that's an unusual color for slaanesh :);) He looks nice, but I wouldn't directly classify him as a lord. I think he needs something more to be a lord. Some skulls, chopped off heads, etc ;)

About the painting. It could be the pic, but the paint looks a bit thick. (shield and leg armourplates) So I think you need to thin your paint a bit more. Other than that it looks good :)

well i guess the reflection of the light makes the paint so thick.

i'm trying to make some more with less lighting ;)

and the shield/greatweapon were made over a year ago, the lord himself about half a year ago ... so the shield really isn't that great ;)

And a LORD he is, at least he fights like one, and that's important ;)

@Mahon:I think the armour itself is NMM, the chainmail looks like RMM.

I think you've drybrushed most of this mini making some of the highlights look a bit grainy. Maybe you can smoothen this a bit with a couple of thinned washes... (But seeing as this one is finished and in the Showcase section you might wanna remember that for the next mini you paint.)

quite nice! :D

The shield is a bit untidy. I have found that its easier to get a straight line if you paint moving the brush side to side with the tip drawing the line instead of along the length of the brush using the side of the bristles to draw the line, if that makes any sense...

drybrushed was only the base :(

shield was made a year ago, its real metallics, the armour was my first nmm gold attempt.

the shield an the weapon really are ugly, but i wanted to show my nmm try

thx for your tips

I'm sorry that I thought it was mostly drybrushed, it just looked that way to me. It's nothing meant negatively so I hope you don't feel offended...

oh no, when it seems drybrushed, it seems so :)

no problem, it was just the first mini where i really put blood and sweat into ;)
but compared to your work well, it seems drybrushed :D

maybe better pics will help to make it out more clearly
