GenCon : Indy 2007 painting contest

Post by pae »

Information for the painting competition at GenCon : Indy has been posted.

The rules PDF isn't up yet, but I imagine it will be up in the very near future.

why is it always so far from us?
I'd like to go there at least once and meet all these painters from the other side of the pond ;)

It can't be closer to us than it is already, Mahon.
Oh, you meant "us", not US :P

Anytime anyone can get the air fare and food money together, I can get you a badge and hotel room by putting you in the Sue Crew. Sure you have to do some time either teaching or being a general volunteer, but it's definitely worth it. And if you teach you get a small paycheck a little while after the event.

That sounds great! Maybe next year as this year I won't have much time for travelling... Sure sounds like a rewarding event though!:)

Maybe we should start a "International Painter Exchange travel fund" for folks; a pot of money to help cover travel costs so people could come over here or go over there for a GD or something. We could pool resources and have a couple limited edition minis or something. ;)
