If you read on the Canadian Website, it seem that will be like you said. So Painting Competition will be there

I think you will find that with some of the new Hall Of heroes events run by members of the Canadian Game-Clubs Network ( a new club initiative from GW - apparently similar to the model used in northern europe) will indeed have painting competitions attatched to them. I sit on the CGN council and can tell you that we are still working out details on how this is to be done.
In that capacity I am looking to run such a competition myself featuring a tournament (in Ontario), GW web coverage, and an annual painting event in the spirit of the "Golden Goblins" that are held out west or the warpstones which were part of the conflicts (I Believe I would be able to continue using that award name to add recognition but am unsure if I want to...). Seeing as how I judged more of those warpstone painting competitions than pretty much anyone else I think I also have the street cred to pull it off ;)

Thanks James for the update. I talk to the people at GW and they said pretty much what you're saying. They will be call warpstone and they were on the process of making trophees or something close to it. I'm going to talk to my local store about the HOH and maybe help them organise one, maybe I can be of help to them? Let me know when you're going to be in Montréal for a HOH, so I can finally meet you. Also I tried to register to your forum but find it difficult to have access or to post a message. If you can look up my emailon your web site(member 94 under moose) and tell me what I'm doing wrong. Remember, I'M lousy with computer!!!!
