I received mine last week. Didn't really have the time to browse through it entirely but it looks great so far, well worth the money.

I'm not really happy about the packaging: the simple cardboard box obviously wasn't enough to protect this book during shipping: nearly every corner has taken a hit and is damaged. Aren't there any other ways to package a book like this? For example placing a strip of foam along every edge?

cardboard box should be enough if a book inside is packed tightly and does not move.
plastic "air bubbles" sheet wrapped around a book is a great additional protection. Sorry, no idea how it is called in English but you probably know the stuff I have in mind :)

Ours fortunately arrived without slightest damage. I only wish shipping was cheaper, but the book is really nice anyway. :)

Got a reply from borg, one of the CMON admins, that "every book is carefully wrapped in bubble wrap before placing it in a sturdy box".

Did yours have any additiona protection?
