Thanks Dragyn, I appreciate it. I tried my best and will take what I learned. I am disapointed that I was the low scorer over all in the round. I though that technique wise I improved some and also changed some of the issues I had with the last diorama but I may have over compensated. Though with out seeing the judges comments I am unsure what I could have done diffrently. There is always next year and I also have painting for gencon to do. From all this I was painting regularly and consitently nightly so I will keep up the good habit and my wip section should flurish.

Bren please contact me here or on the wyrd forums and we will get you your hard earned prize.

Oh on the job thing I am set guys thank you for the concerns, I have more interviews coming in and they are more trying to convice me to pick them then the other way around.

Well, it was very difficult to compete against all those excellent movie-themed dioramas.
And I think the theme was not strong enough in your work. If I was to make a guess I'd say it wasn't as much of technical issues but more about theme which cost you some points.
But it's just my guess...

Unlucky there Neo, there are still plenty of other competitions to come. I think you did a grand job and it was a real pleasure watching your entries progress throughout. I agree with Mahon in that i think the obvious themes were given higher scores so keep going im sure you'll approach the next comp with more knowledge now and enthusiasm :)

I'd agree with arctica... I think if you make your theme more lateral and obscure you risk a lower mark.... I think that's always been the case... it's still fun to try something different though, I usually try to :D

To play safe, it's probably better to be as literal and humorous as possible... I get the impression that most of the judges don't have the time available to de-code a more subtle entry.

Good luck next time Neo... I've got another round to battle through... I suspect I'm going to need to try harder this time...:)
