C'mon post them! And tell us who of these painters was taught by you? You know, I mean the similarities in styles. So much creativity and so similar styles..

So... you sculpted the Lasgun once again, too...?... Because it looks so similar to the Bloodpack one...

jup, like matt said, looks a bit similar, I didn't have the time to check if it's "the same" or just "similar", so I just asked...no need to be pissed off really, I didn't mean it negatively I hope we mortals can still speak their minds about the miniatures of a dual-slayer winner

if that: my inspiration is Raul Garcia Latorre.. i have seen the best painters in the world in fantasy miniature and in historical, and believe me.. he is the best of the world without doubts. is my inspiration..i would like to be a quart as he is..

secondly JMPN , he is one of my 3 bestfriends and the one who always helped me, and belief in me. encouraged me and teach me.. is my jedi master.

then , alot of painters i admire or styles.. now i am so surprised with the work of Calvin Tan, Van gils, jaume ortiz, mike blank, bill horan...

JAG in fantasy and allan carrasco cause his sclpts are nearly perfect thecnically.. i love the new talents as romain, mathieul, nicola hanset...

and Iago Pineda (aka khalet..who is the most talented young man i have ever seen)..

there are a lot of them more but...

if you are interested on something tell me..i will try to explain..is a curious question.

What I asked for was if you are teaching other artists who entered the GD, so that their styles are so similar. But what I got was even more interesting because you explained your sources of inspiration.

mahon: tyes, some of the new winners are my pupils..they made one or 2 paintying courses with me this summer.

rafael- bronze in 40k squad

elias- bronze in gran maestyro category

daniel- bronze in escena de batalla(diorama)

sergio- silver in escena de batalla (diorama)

Francisco espiga- Silver in gran maestro category and silver in fantasy squad


in fact am very proud of them. they have increased a lot and they will win a lot of more in the next years, specially elias (morsi on cmon) who is so talented.
