@ Demi, it's not only the polish painters community there are a lot of fora where people don't really help each other
I visit the spanish forum on a regular basis and I noticed, besides what Banshee said, people don't hold back there. They comment on every aspect of the miniature.
I guess that is one of the reasons of the difference in level

We are just too kind for eachother

I'm afraid in "backstabbing rating" polish community keeps world championship...

i really like the sound of that, an big net worldwide comunity of top painters sharing their opinions under one forum, sometimes i feel im missing a big part of the hobby because i cant speak italian, french and spanish (wel spanish i can understand a bit but writing is a nightmare)
Im happy to know spanish teams atitude is to help out others and link to other teams.

Thats the way it should be! lets face it 2000 comments like "its great" will not take you anywere, its a normal thing in mainstream generic forums but on a painting based forum we should do more than just that.
And against myself i speak i hold back a lot since i just dont want to hurt anyone feelings (and people and their painted minis are extremely sensible)
If spanish forums comment every aspect of mini without holding back then its a maturity we still need to achieve
hey we could open a part in the forum like "find the faults on my mini" only for the strong skin painters

no no no Banshee, you get it all wrong - forums are for showing your works, and putting links to cmon and e-bay

Phil mate, you're being harsh on your self again! Too funny though, that reply!
I wish there was a GD master in my area where I could lift myself upon...
Just like with ToMaZ (I assume) there aren't too many top painters in my area, mostly gamers. But we are making plans to start a group with mostly painters and converters to have a go at some of the Demon events in Europe.
So maybe next year Team Holland will make itself renown in the community, don't know if it will be because of their painting/converting skills though....
