I've heard that all warbands need at least 10 miniatures, only horses or other larger models have enough with 5

the point is...i think...that the category is called "Fantasy Regiment" ...at least in uk (which is where the poland categories come from, no?), germany, italy...

hence for me it's 10, but who knows...it can always be different on the day... lol

EDIT

but yeah, i am indeed wrong: https://uk.games-workshop.com/goldendemo ... #category6

Well, most of us are used to seeing extreme closeups and can judge them appropriately. But the overexposures were terrible. You named it right: SLAUGHTER of good minis.

BTW the lions look very cool. Will you show them to us? Better photos, plz!

I agree, the pictures are very bad this year (again). Sascha's slayer sword winner came out okay on the picture IMO. The sword is well deserved, but boy did he make a mess of that base!

On the base sizes and such: having read the official GD Germany 2007 rules again (https://www.games-workshop.de/home/veran ... D-2007.pdf) I think it's indeed safe to put a single on larger sizes base than it's original since they say for example '40k mini on a 25 or 40 mm round base'. WFB minis need to have at least 10 minis in a unit, 40k units only need to be gaming legal (that's my interpretation).

What I also didn't know was that a scenic base doesn't get judged, only the base of the mini itself...
