Was there any gamming activities or just painting comp?

we'll remove his testicles by ourselves, if he does not present any good excuse :evil:
judging at GD's was carried by GW staff, glad to see im wrong.
there is not enough polish GW staffers to create a proper judge committee :)
oh and your best judging was on tyranid ravener

yeah, we thought you'd be much disappointed to see another GD without nids winning demons ;)

as for your new post:
- there were not enough entries sometimes, e.g. we joined duel and diorama categories.
- lots of other events - conversion contest, speed painting, paint lessons, demo games, few WFB tournaments, small 40k tournament
- non-GW events - Infinity, Hero-clix, Battle-tech, historic games and others

Very interesting to know that there was lots of other events associated to the painting contest, like one big event with lots of small competitions, that will bring lots of diferent people.
Sorry if im to curious about tecnical aspects of organizing such event but i have a couple more questions;

who did organize and rented the place? The hobby entusiasts, miniature companies or stores? or was it sponsored by all :)

and thanks for the bug love with the ravener :twisted:

GD and other mentioned events were only a part of the biggest Polish fantasy con - Polcon. It is organized by hobbyists and heavily sponsored by lots of companies.

From the pictures I have seen, I would say that it was an overall success. My congratulations to all the CofC winners and to all the participants!!!!!

can't agree about any single entry - I didn't have any piece painted which I could bring to the contest

Congratulations everyone!! :clap: :dance: Some very nice entries. (I've waited all day to say that. The server died on me this morning, and then work took over.)

@Nav - You can commiserate with Tom Schadle. He lives in a city of over 1 million people and not a single gaming store. And he can't find anyone to play anything other than 40k within a couple hours drive. :P
