HE Dragon Prince Champion

Post by Florian »

Hi!

Here is another finished modell from my upcoming army, the Champion of the Dragon Princes. I have to admit that the process of painting so many blue-white models is starting to get a bit annoying, but I try not to rush and take my time, so I think I will be able to complete everything (and not get frustated).

The colorscheme is rather similar to that of the Silver Helms, I only changed the brown colors and the color of the horsetail.
The base (unfortunately it is a bit blurry on the images, but I think you can get the idea) is a bit more complicated that those on the Silver Hems, too. The idea behind this is that it should help the Dragon Princes stand out from the rest of the army later.

I hope you like him, and of course I am happy to hear any comments, and of course, for votes at CMON, too :-).

Elf's armor is amaizing, whole model is very good and clean painted, only horse skin looks a little flat to me.-maybe more shades? I give you 9 on CMON.

extremely clean and awesome painting!!

I like the scheme, what colours did you use for the scales?

When the HE will be finished, why dont u start with 40k ultramarines... to change colourschemes??? hehehehehe

the thing that really stands out for me on this is the scale mail barding on the horse. Superb job on those!

For the armour (including the scales) I use self-mixes of various shades of grey and blue which I call "Dragonarmour - Colors".

Very nice. If you get too frustrated with painting blue/white then I suggest you paint something completely different so you won't go utterly mad! :)
