Alkemy - Jade Triad

Post by Corvus »

I'm doing the starter set plus one extra figure (the monkey-guy on the right) on commission. The customer asked me to incorporate some jade color in the model, but for the rest I should stay close to the studio paintjob.

Here's what I have so far:

looks like the picture host doesn't support linking to images directly... Although I get to see the image, probably because it is in my cache.

from the distance I can see a nice better-than-tabletop quality models.
can't say much more at the moment, but the colors work well together.

But what makes me really happy is seeing you here again :trampolin:

Looks good so far, but we need close-ups ;) I like the colorscheme and the robe on the monk.

BTW, where did you pick these models up? Because the Oberonn refuses to stock them, and I would like to have a few of them.

The customer sent them to me...

I agree, they are almost impossible to find in Vlaanderen... no official stores are listed on the Kraken website.

My advice is to keep an eye open for them at the Crisis convention in Antwerp...

Thank you for the comments so far, I will provide some close ups when the work has advanced.

:D Pretty. I like the quality and colors.
IMO the shoes coud be covered with dust, and the guy in the center could have FH on the chest :)
Is the fur not finnished still?

I'm aiming for a better than average tabletop quality here, so freehands are out of the question :)

But the mage will get some kind of glowing effect on his hand palms, like in the studio paintjob.

The fur on the monkey isn't finished yet.

Thanks!
