After a long break I actually managed to paint a mini. Strange, isn't it?
I wanted to experiment with a different way of painting faces on him - with much deeper shadows. Going from dark flesh to tiny highlightsd of pale flesh. I don't think it will be my way of painting though.
I added some reddish tint on his cheek and violet on his nose. This makes him look just... like he looks
Cool mini Mahon, great work. I think the face is quite nice this way too, there is no trace of experimenting (at least I don't see it as an experiment). Smooth and realistic effect.
ooo, thats nice! I like the shirt very much, very rustic village feel! The face is nice too I thought! The red in the cheek works well. Not to convince on the purple nose. Using red on it would be better I think. Good stuff!

I really like him. The skin tone is great. You coud add a bottle of booze in his right hand
