Finally! The Golden Honezzz contest is over. At least the first round. I would like to thank all participant. There ware 20 brave and gifted painters from Czech and Slovak republiks and I hope for more people from more countries for other rounds. Second I have to realy thank to all jury: Mahon, Jasper, Gerrie, Honza Skypala and Feathor. Special thanks to Feathor for writting evaluation to ALL entries. Big thanks to Honezzz itself for programing work.

Well, I'm glad that the winner of both groups is same, we can safe on the price and shipping (just kidding
). The price for winner is can of Testor Dullcote matt varnish. I hope it's nice price and try to get some sponsors for next round.
Please, feel free to add you opinions about thir rather pilot round. I can see lot of mistakes I did during the whole contest by myself, but I'll be glad for everyone's idea. I'm affraid I'll have now focused mysefl on more real stuff in my life (state exam at the end of this month at least), but I'm going to manage other round in future.
Once more, thank for support to all!

PS: couple words from one of judges, which can clear up some questions about work of jury.

Hello!
Here are the results of my judging of the Golden Honezz competition. All arguments used here are clearly of my conscience so take it easy. I would like to commnet all the pictures cause I'm gladly suprised how many skilled painters well in this figurepainting-forsaken country! I just hope this will be of any use for the painters and motivate them for ?better? works in the future. Please, dont be dissapointed because of lack of points, each judge has only 15 points to distribute among at least 5 models so thats why most of the models have ?low? or zero point ratings, even if I would like to evaluate them better? Some of my commnents will seem maybe little bit off-topic, but i would like to share my ideas about the figures with the authors to help them in the future progress, not only state the errors of their work-so please take it like that - I dont want to blow any hatred because of low ranking-we are doin this for fun arent we?
I just want to add to the choce of figure-because I was observing the debates of the painters during their works on the Hofyland(CZ painters offline forum)-that it seemed at the beginning as a good choice but finally most of the painters were disappointed with the progress and the result and cursed this model! I dare to disagree.I must say that the figure was ideal choice for the first round of this competition, it is free of large details like rackham figures, relatively easy to paint and includes a large fields for the free-hand exhibitions. Taken simply, ideal for widest spectrum of painters to participate.
