In some way I have seen this coming. The magazine was released in the peak of mini painting madness, mainly supported by the CoolMiniOrNot community, which was very active at that time.
People bought every mini they could get their hands on at that time, and a lot of small e-businesses entered the market, including CMON's own new shop.

Things calmed down a bit since then IMO, and this is one of the consequences...

Just my thoughts (because I was a very active CMON member at that time too)

Anyway I think the PDF magazine is a great way to promote the community.

Good points, Gerrie.. Seems like we all noticed that the miniatures-boom is over. They are still very popular and the situation became more stable now but without such a boom as before.

Still the news about the Harbinger magazine is something to be happy about! I never managed to pick up a single copy before the magazine died....

There is so many great free sites, forums, galleries and e-zins around. I'm not surprised, that payable magazine did not make it.
Still - this is not a good news. Hope that downloadable Harbinger will fare better.
