With my personal feelings put aside and judging the technical aspect:
Great quality stuff. The painting is great, and the atmosphere the miniature breathes out is superb. The Greenstuff parts are nice, and conceptwise the whole miniature looks familiar yet original.
Now personally I grow a bit tired of this overkill in freehand and bits...
It seems that the artist just added as much bits as possible and painted as much freehand as possible. (I understand that the GD is a place to show off your skills though)
Oposite to what Tomaz said i just admire those freehands. Take a closer look, how they were made - one of those links leads to a forum, that shows in detail layers - frames, skul background, main drawings, details. Althought it might make one tired of and overgrow of such elements, still it needs to be admited that they are great quality.
As for the entire mini - nice and clean, especially taking itno consideration, that the author used mostly dark colors and came out with a nice final effect.
I kinda share the thoughts ToMaZ expressed. Nothing negative towards the maker of this very cool and original model but indeed the Freehand overkill these days is starting to get boring towards a level it's starts to bore me a bit...
Excellent stuff btw, I kinda forgot Italy was had already...
