I want to see worst painted army
RE: Austrian Confrontation Open
thanks
i must say that i absolutely reached 2 of 3 of my goals, best painted, overal winner (of course those do not count anything officially
), just finished 4 ranks behind the top 10 which was goal #3 but that's ok, considered that I rolled p00p in the last game... (ok actually i did not roll any good except in 2 games hehe)
worst painted was a wolfen army. i have to check if i can find it among the pics...

Hope it's nothing serious.Trovarion wrote:lets see if i feel like doing it after i come home from the doc
I don't like the idea of such award. Some people wouldn't mind receiving it and would take it with humour, but most would be quite dissapointed, even taking a free paint set into consideration. Just imagine staying in front of the whole crowd and admitting: Yes, I'm the worst painter around.Trovarion wrote:Alexander Grob (Dark Chaos Master) Worst Painted Army Award (prize was a Rackham paint set)
This reminds me of a small scandal, that ended one of EE GT in POland. Gamers that occupied last places in both WFB and 40K tournaments received rulebooks (40K and WFB respectively) with words - "guys, it's time to change the game you play". IIRC, at least one of those gamers was not from POland. If I would travel to another country to hear something like that, I'd kick somebody's ass.
BTW - do you think, that Rackham paints will help Alexander to improve his skills?
I am actually 100% sure that the prize was an improvisation by a founding member of the CORD, it was only anounced to be a "special suprise award" and since they know each other since a pretty long time he knew that Alex wouldnt mind. and I am also sure (judging from the fact that he said "my army wont be any better next year with a big grin) that Alex doesnt give a damn if people think his army is the worst painted ^^ Not all gamers care for painted minis you know ^^
