The 2007 Newbold Challenge

Post by IanNewbold »

The 2007 Newbold Challenge is dedicated to raising funds for a well known charity called Children in Need.

There are figure painting, drawing and sculpting competitions. There are cash prizes ($100 USD) for the winners of each competition and a small commemorative mini (Anonymous Bodge). And we will give $2 USD to Children in Need on behalf of each person who enters the Challenge.

You can read all about the Newbold Challenge at :-

https://www.newboldworld.com/challenge.html

We hope one or two of you will enter the Challenge and help us to help Children in Need.

:)

Any applause belong to my wife and daughters. It was their idea and I am too big a coward to argue with all three of them!

We've just posted the fourth entry in the Paint Dukino competition in our viewing gallery. It's called Dragon Kisses and it's definitely well worth a look :-

Ian, all the entries look so good... It seems all were painted by really good painters, well prepared and backed up with good concepts behind them. Seems the competition may be strong.

Yep the first four entries are all excellent and I'm hoping for a few more. I'm glad I'm not a judge though! I wouldn't know how to choose between them. :D

A gentle reminder that the closing date for both our Popular Style and Classical Style open figure painting competitions is Sunday 4th November. You can enter any manufacturer's figures in these competitions and there is a small trphy and a $100 USD cash prize for the winner.

The next of our charity auctions will feature the Jubilant Twins and you can sneak a peek at them at :-
